MRMC's Daugherty Honored with LifePoint's "CEO of the Year" Award

Ville Platte, Louisiana – Mercy Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Alan Daugherty was honored recently with LifePoint Hospitals’ CEO of the Year Award. The award, presented annually to one of LifePoint’s 54 hospital CEOs, celebrates leadership and operational excellence in 2011.  

“Alan is a leader who knows how to paint the picture of a vision and then inspire others to fulfill it. He has the ability to think beyond today, anticipate what will impact the future and develop effective plans to embrace needed change,” said LifePoint Hospitals Division President Michael Clark, who presented the award. “Alan adds a personal touch to his work with people.  He views every employee as part of the family and treats them as such.  It is my pleasure to honor Alan through this important award.”
